Welcome to the Family Center!

The Family Center is the place for ALL families with young children to come together.
We outreach and support families in the 11 towns of Northern Berkshire County.
Mother with her Two Kids

We offer single session parenting workshops and longer weekly parent education classes.  Topics include positive discipline, child development and self care for parents.

Kids Playing with Lego

Playgroups are a wonderful opportunity to meet other parents and children, to help your child learn social skills and learn more about child development.

Kid's Sweater

The FREE Children's Clothing exchange is a room full of lightly used clothing.  It includes newborn to size 12 clothing and children's shoes and books.  Parent can come to shop and/or can donate clothing their children have outgrown.

Classmates in the Library

Our friendly staff can help you get connected to the local resources to meet your family's individual needs.  We provide warm hand-offs or simple phone numbers.  Call us at 664-4821.

Happy Kids

The Family Center plans large and small events for families with young children throughout the year.  Some of our most well known events include Touch a Truck and Ooey Gooey Night.

ParentChild+ offers individual coaching and support to assist parents in building their child's vocabulary and other pre-reading skills.

Our program is free and the books and toys are gifts to support you as your child's first teacher so you can help your child prepare for school and for life.
